Quality control
In order to ensure that your goods are in perfect condition when they are dispatched to you, all  items are checked individually before leaving our premises by a member of our specialist staff. 
We aim to show the colours and shades of our shoes and accessories on the website as accurately as we can, but they can vary slightly from monitor to monitor. We regret we can accept no liability for this type of confusion.

All sizing is UK specified unless otherwise stated. Please ensure you order the correct size as shown in the bridal shoes sections. This chart is for guidance only and applies only for shoes shown on this website.

Shoe dyeing
In order to match colours, you should send us a sample of the colour you require, e.g. a piece of the fabric. 
If this is not practical, and you send an electronic sample, say a scan, then we will do our very best to match it.
We regret we can accept no liability for colour matches for which we do not have an original sample.

Prices
Prices shown on the catalogue pages do not include UK sales tax (VAT). Current rates are shown where applicable and VAT is added at the checkout. 
Although we will make every attempt to keep prices unchanged, First4Brides reserves the right to amend any prices at any time without prior notice.

Point of contract 
Our contract with you is only entered into once goods have been dispatched and not before that point. 

Payment 
We accept payment by: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta, Visa Electron, Solo and PayPal. 

Delivery to you
We normally dispatch your shoes and accessories from stock within 24-48 hours (Sunday excluded).  

If the items need to be specially ordered for you from a manufacturer then we will dispatch them on the day they arrive with us. If this is the case, we will send you an email confirming how long we estimate delivery will take. This estimate is just that, an estimate, we cannot make guarantees when we have no control over the manufacturer who is supplying the items. 

Please let us know by email, fax or telephone if you must have your items by a certain date. While we will do our utmost to get your items to you, we cannot be held responsible for any items that fail to arrive in time due to forces beyond our control, such as postal error.

We are happy to deliver to your work address but we cannot be held responsible if the item goes astray. Should this happen we will, of course, be happy to send you a copy of our proof of posting on request.

Standard postage and packing rates (UK only)
Prices are for First Class Recorded Delivery (Signed For) to ensure your shoes can be tracked.

Please note: This service is not a guaranteed next day delivery service.

Next day delivery (UK only)
We can send your purchases by Royal Mail Special Delivery service (guaranteed next day before 1pm). This service is available up to 2kgs and the charge is £7.45.  For the guaranteed next day before 9 am Royal Mail Special Delivery service the charge is £14.55.  Please note, whilst the service will be as fast as possible, Royal Mail does not guarantee next day delivery in some parts of Scotland and more remote parts of the UK. Please contact your local Royal Mail enquiry centre if you have any queries on this. 

Saturdays are not classified as normal business days; we therefore regret that no Saturday delivery is possible.
Delivery charges quoted above may change without notification due to changes in postage, parcel, courier or fuel prices or taxes applying to them.

Overseas orders
We are very pleased to accept overseas orders.
Please note that your items will be sent airmail from the UK to your country but arrival at your specific address is subsequently dependent on the efficiency of the postal service in your country

Exchanges and refunds
Goods can only be exchanged or refunded if returned in an unworn condition within ten working days of the invoice date. We regret that we are unable to refund postage and packing charges unless the goods are faulty or we made an error and sent you the wrong item. Postage will be charged again (using the same payment method as before) on the replacement goods which will be sent at the same rate of postage and by the same method as the original order. When returning goods, please quote our invoice number, date of purchase and list the items returned. 

If posting goods back to us, please take care how the item is packaged as we cannot refund items that have become damaged in transit. It is the customer's responsibility to make sure the goods reach us safely and we recommend using an insured method of posting as we are not responsible for items that go missing in the mail. We do not send out confirmation of receiving returns so please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope (or International Reply Coupon if overseas) in the parcel if you would like to receive a copy of the returns receipt. Any tax or duties charged to First4Brides for overseas deliveries and/or returns will be your responsibility.

Please do not try to exchange goods outside these guidelines as refusal often offends people. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Security
We use a third party secure encrypted payment system to ensure your credit card details are protected from misuse. This means that none of our staff can see your credit card details. We do not pass your email details to third parties so you should not receive spam as a result of having emailed or placed an order with us. We usually enter your email address on our email address list unless you request otherwise.

You will understand that it is not possible to include all our product lines available on this web site, so please do not hesitate to enquire should you have a specific need and we will be only too happy to assist.
